Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Zadran grew to become the youngest participant to take the sphere in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Sunday. At 17 years and 11 days, the leggie was chosen in Kings XI Punjab’s opener towards Delhi Daredevils.
Beforehand, the document belonged to India’s Sarfaraz Khan, who made his IPL debut at 17 years and 177 days towards Chennai Tremendous Kings in 2015.
Coming onto bowl within the third over of the Delhi innings, Zadran trapped Colin Munro leg-before to open his tally within the competitors.
Zadran was purchased by Kings XI for Rs. 4 crore within the auctions in January.
He made his debut for Afghanistan final 12 months towards Eire at Sharjah and has 35 wickets to his title in 15 matches, together with a five-wicket haul.
